Artist's Comments

So I finally finished this ring. And threw together a little informational deviation in the process.

I am working on being able to cast my own stuff so I don't have to pay crazy caster's fees or drive far. Once I get it worked out I will make a more informative deviation on the casting process. Something closer to a tutorial than this.....

Unless I get a big out cry I will not make a separate deviation for the finished ring.

The finished ring is made of silver ^_~

Thanks dear:aww:
That's why I made the deviation ^_~ I know a lot of people would be interested in how a piece of jewelry becomes *alive* so to speak. There is actually a lot more to it. Which I hope to show some time soon =D

Whoa, very cool! So the second-to-last set of pics is the same as the last one, only it's been polished? It makes that much of a difference? It came out very nicely, I love flowers!

The four pictures on the bottom are all pictures of the finished ring. So yes the two on top of the four are before I polished and cleaned it. By cleaning up, in jewelry it means you carve, file, reshape, and a number of other things. That's why it looks so different. Especially with this one since the caster did a bad job and my wax work was not the cleanest....so I had a lot of clean up.....*wishes all she had to do was polish it..*

Thank you dear!=D

Oooh. Well it still looks so different, like the one row was clay and the last row was silver! sdgdfhj it's neat! The caster who did a bad job wasn't the really expensive one I hope?

Yeah it was that caster......don't get me started...you would think at lest the casting would of been ok at that price >.<

Glade you enjoyed it! I always have fun looking at the process of how things are made.

It looks beautiful. Thanks for making the step-by-step process; it's very interesting to see how this is done.
