Hands

This was the last of a series of prints I created that centered around looking at the similarities of buddhism and the catholic religion. Its has a lot of personal meaning for me and was the hardest of all the prints to create. The hands are the hands of jesus and buddha. I used a technique known as Chine-colle to get color in the center of each hand. The technique used to create the plate is intaglio. The plate is thick poster board.
